What You’ll Experience
At Crossroads Christian School, your child isn’t a number. We intentionally create small class sizes to increase engagement and individualized attention.
Our Charlotte Mason approach also fosters interest in literature, art, math, science, music, and more. Our students are naturally curious about their world, faith, and learning experience.
What Sets Us Apart
Several things make Crossroads Christian School a wholly unique educational experience. Because we believe that parents are the primary responsibility of educating their children, we want to encourage younger students to be nurtured as much as home while not compromising quality of education. Grades kindergarten through second grade meet from 8:30 to 12:30 four days a week, Monday through Thursday with a flexible Friday schedule. First and second grade classes also meet four hours a day Monday through Wednesday and have enrichment classes on Thursdays until 2:45.
Parental Involvement
In addition to our four-day school week, we take great pride in strong parental involvement. During the school week, parents of first and second graders have the opportunity to teach enrichment classes, providing an opportunity to further involve themselves in their children’s growth and development.
Community-Centered
We also pride ourselves on community connectedness and learning. Jesus encouraged us to go out into the world and help others.

Bridge After-School Program
The Bridge Program is designed to provide activities for K-2 students who are ready for a full day of learning. The longer school day allows more time for Charlotte Mason activities like handicrafts, nature study, free play, stories, and other worthwhile pursuits.
The students will receive daily reading and math facts practice, have time to play, have fun with peers, and enjoy the wonder of discovery and hands-on learning.
The Bridge Program is not a tutoring program.
The program serves as a bridge for students in three ways: Schedule, Development, and School-To-Home.
- Schedule:
The program is designed to save parents time as a “bridge” from early dismissal in grades K-2 to the 2:45 pick-up time for students in grades 3rd-8th. - Development:
The program is a “bridge” between early childhood (lower elementary) and later childhood (upper elementary) to help students develop good habits with homework and reading while preserving the sanctity of childhood with free play, hands-on activities, and lots of fun. - School-To-Home:
The program is a “bridge” between school and home, providing structure and support for homework to preserve precious time at home with parents to focus on evening activities. Not all homework will be completed during Bridge.
The Bridge Program costs $550 a semester. It meets on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 12:30 to 2:45 p.m.
